FAQ: HOW IS THIS PLAN FOR BOTH MEN, AND WOMEN?

DON’T WE NEED SEPARATE PLANS?? 

The plan was designed for men and women together, but separately, so portions are different, but the meals are the same

(with the the exception of the extra meal/calories/macros in the BOARDSHORTS plan, because guys need more calories/slightly different macros!).

SO… if you are cooking for two, you DO NOT have to work with two completely different grocery lists!

    • When payment goes through properly, you and I will both receive email confirmation of the transaction from PayPal. Check your accounts. It doesn’t look like any transaction was actually made. I haven’t received any PayPal emails yet. It should ask you for your email at the very least.

    Hi Rachel, I am really interested in this program. I have definitely plateaued and am ready for a new routine. I also need to get my nutrition back on track. I try to eat gluten free due to the arthritis in my knees to help the inflammation. I am 46 and train 5-6 days a week. I have a personal trainer 2 days a week and I work out on my own the other days of the week. I wondered if there is somewhere to view the how the program is designed before we purchase? For example, how do you have the workouts set up? 5 days a week? How long should the workouts take? I work out early in the morning and only have about an hour and a half at the most. I usually lift for an hour and then do cardio for 30 min. Also do you include how to fuel before early morning workouts? Pre and post workout options? Just curious. I just spent way too much money on a wokout/nutrition program that is very inadequate so I am leery of purchasing something else now.

    • Hi Angela, and thank you for your questions :)
      The program is made up of 4 days of resistance training a week and 3-6 days of cardio (depending on your body type). You can do cardio on resistance training days or spread them out if you have less cardio workouts to do. The training gets progressively more challenging every few weeks to keep you from plateauing. The workouts shouldn’t take more than 1-1.5 hours and the cardio is 20-60 min, depending again on body type. With this program I’d suggest taking meal #1 with you to eat immediately post workout, or eat before, and take meal #2 with you. Up to you, but you’ll want to space them out. I include one meal plan modification with purchase in case something doesn’t workout for you, and I’m happy to help with any questions you have as well. It’s definitely a program more than it is a text book, but I wrote it to give those who can’t work with me personally or online through my Virtual Training program an affordable option that will yield results if they stick to it.     • Thank you, Genevieve! Excited for you! To answer your question, it depends on how many hours you’re awake each day. Figure that out and spread out the meals over your day, eating every 2-3 hours ideally. Also, make sure you don’t eat immediately before training, but you do eat immediately after training. I hope that helps! :)
