Crave ice cream? Me too.
I have honestly looked everywhere for a clean ice cream that doesn’t contain any ingredients that would hinder my physique progress or irritate my digestive system (I’m lactose intolerant…sorry for the overshare). I haven’t been able to find anything that meets the standards I’ve set, so I had to come up with my own recipe. And you’re in luck, because today I’m sharing that recipe with you.
Finally a clean chocolate dessert that’s dairy-free, all-natural, high-protein, gluten-free and low-carb!
Before I share this scrumptious little treat with you, I have to tell you about the whey protein I use in this recipe. Gnarly Whey, by Gnarly Nutrition. Gnarly Nutrition is an awesome sports nutrition line I came across, thanks to a recommendation from new friend, and fellow trainer, the lovely (and totally bad-ass) Kim Lyons. Now you can get 15% off your order with discount code: ‘CauseFitness’!
Gnarly as a brand lives up to their name! The website is amazing. The nutrition is solid. There’s not a bad ingredient to be found in any of their products. The story and mission of the brand is inspiring. It’s totally impressive. I had to try it, and guess what? It’s also one of the BEST tasting whey proteins I’ve ever tried and believe me, if anyone knows, it’s me. I have at least one serving of whey protein every day and have had, most days, since I started lifting seriously back in 2006! (That’s a LOT of whey). I practically begged for an athlete endorsement with them, because I truly fell in love with this product, but they’re a relatively new company, so I was premature in asking, but I will still sing their praises!
That said… *I highly recommend this product*
